Teaching

I have always had a passion for music and have spent a lot of time over the years sharing that passion with others.

​

Reflecting on my own music lessons I had growing up, there were a lot of gaps in my musical foundations, through self study I was forced to compensate for these over the years.

 

While taking on new students privately and in positions teaching at various schools. it became more and more apparent that some students had struggled to learn under the supervision of other teachers. Through this I began seeing the gaps that had been left and my methods in teaching/problem solving became more refined.

It takes more then one tool in the tool belt to teach music, its not one size fits all.

Learning an instrument is possible for everyone, it just takes the right approach.

​

My aim as a teacher has always been to give a strong foundation that makes journeying through music truly possible.

Each student, while their individual tailored needs may be different.

Is given the foundations and ongoing care to take them all the way to virtuoso.​

​

As an accomplished Multi instrumentalist and session player.

​

I offer: lessons in Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano, and Drums.

​

With a deep musical understanding of writing and creativity.

I also offers: songwriting, composition, music theory and Improvisation classes.

I offer this to those who play any other instrument.
